Category C Licence
Also known as Class 2 or a ‘rigid’, the Category C licence is a popular choice due to its high earning potential of up to £38k for new drivers and ease of entry into the HGV industry.
The Category C licence allows you to drive vehicles up to 32 tonnes, it’s generally considered an easier licence to obtain as there is no trailer, the vehicle is one fixed unit so handles in a similar way to driving a car does.
